iphoto questions

1.) I typed in on google images "the letter ___" in order to get pictures of letters. For specific names like Derrick Rose, I typed in his name and wallpaper on google images. I also had ideas for brands such as
K-mart, so I typed in "K-mart logo."

2.) I learned how to make a slideshow in iphoto and add music to it. I also learned that you have to ask specifically what you want on google images in order to get exactly what you want. Music was also an important thing, because I found that music without words sounds a lot better on a slideshow than music with words.

3.) In a real-world situation, I might have to make a slideshow of pictures of a product and its functions. Doing it in iphoto is simple and quick and can do a better job than a boring powerpoint.

4.) I preferred the more creative project than the excel and word projects.

5.) Most of the images i cropped and took with my own camera. I used the pictures I got off of the internet for an educational purpose, therefore I did not violate and copyright laws.

2. What is a template? [If you use an definition from an online source, be sure to tell me from what website it came.]

A template is a sample fill-in-the-blank document that can be completed either by hand or through an automated iterative process, such as with a software assistant. This definition came from typing define:template into google.

3. What tools/functions in Excel did you use to calculate your data?

I mostly used AutoSum and AutoAverage to find all of the information i needed to put it into a pie graph, which was also a tool i used.

4.  What skills did you use/learn in this project?

I learned how to add information in a table by only highlighting it and clicking AutoSum. I also learned how to find the averages of information and how to make a pie graph of it all.

5.  What “extras” (colors, decorations, etc.) did you add to your project?

I added colors to distinguish information of each m&m and to separate information on the pie chart.

6.  What are some other uses you may have for a simple excel spreadsheet?

Other uses for a simple spreadsheet are to compare information and find averages and use graphs to display information to others, such as a presentation for math or science.
